This year we decided to shake things up a bit and change the format of the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC). We want you to put on your thinking caps and come up with new INNOVATIVE Ideas!

Imagine creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking combined into one big event. To top it off, this year, we are also giving out MORE PRIZES!

These are the 3 categories you can participate in (choose one):

1. Creating a Business Idea

We merged the products and services categories into one. We are looking for a Innovative Business Idea that could take the world by storm. Just develop a business plan for a product or service that is new and innovative and you could win up to $3,000!

2. Creating a real Business

One category that we kept from our old format is the popular Summer Venture category. By developing a realistic business plan, you’ll have the opportunity to create and run your own business for the whole summer. You can win up to $1,000 in addition to a $3,000 loan to make your business plan a reality!

3. Volunteering in your community

This category benefits everyone. The Youth Community Engagement category was created to recognize the great volunteer work being done in our communities. Anyone from an individual, a group or even a whole school can participate. Winners will receive a $500 donation to the charity or organization of their choice.
