Prepare For Your Kiosk

This presentation is very similar to a science fair project. Each team prepares a presentation booth explaining the details of their project.
During the application process, each team filled out a Lean Canvas. Using this as a guide, the kiosk is a platform for the students to go into more detail about their business idea.
Things to include are:

  • The problem
  • Information about the customer
  • Current solutions available for the problem (AKA current competition)
  • Proposed solution
  • Why is it better than the competition?
    • What is your competitive advantage?
    • What is your unique value proposition?
  • Business model
    • What are the important numbers to keep in mind for the business? This might be a break even number.
    • What are the costs associated with your solution?
    • How much are you charging for your solution? How do you make money?
  • Next steps:
    • Where are you now?
    • What’s next?
    • What are you looking for? (money / team mates / partnerships?)

Media Consent Form

Media consent forms are due to us by May 1 at midnight.

Judging criteriA

  1. An outline of the problem/opportunity the business solves or addresses;
